BACKGROUND AND BRIEF:
Liliesleaf Trust wanted an interactive experience in the foyer of their auditorium building, where visitors could interact with the biographies of the various people connected to the Farm during the struggle against apartheid.

Liliesleaf Trust wanted an interactive experience in the foyer of their auditorium building, where visitors could interact with the biographies of the various people connected to the Farm during the struggle against apartheid.
APPROACH:
I used a very visual approach to the navigation using silhouettes of the people placed on an invisible carousel. More detailed silhouettes were used for the Accused, 11 political activists we were on trial at the famous Rivonia Trial in 1963.
Applying the museum’s colour palette and style to the interface. The updated interface matched the design of the interactive table elsewhere at the museum.
Users could browse through the biographies of various key figures in Liliesleaf’s history and see their connections to each other. There were also photo galleries and videos available for viewing.
